Introduction
Bookshop is a business model where our customers sell third-party content taken from our marketplace.
Bookshop Enablement
The Bookshop feature is enabled for Enterprise and Growth plans and it can be added to other plans.
Check more information in this documentation: Bookshop Enablement.
Sales Fees Distribution
The content owner and bookshops have special fees, different from the regular plans (Enterprise, Growth, and Starter).
The fees are negotiated deal by deal, although there is a default fee for regular deals.
More information about fees and how to set them: Sales Fees Distribution.
Content Availability
Find a detailed guide about the different ways to upload the content to the marketplace: Content Availability.
Content Permissions: Block and Allow Lists
Publica.la can set which tenant can access the content of a particular content owner.
Check how to set permissions and how it works: Block and Allow Lists.
Withdraw Content
As content in the Marketplace can be added to a specific bookshop, it can also be withdrawn.
There are specific situations to take into account, especially for content already purchased.
See this document with more information: Withdrawing Content.
Marketplace Dashboard
The Marketplace dashboard is the place where bookshops can add new content from the Marketplace to their inventory.
