Onboarding​

Authentication Options​

We provide multiple secure ways to access Publica.la Reader:

  • Sign in with Facebook for quick access
  • Connect with Google account
  • Sign in with Apple account (iOS only)
  • Email authentication:
    • Enter email to receive access code
    • Input verification code
    • Option to request new code if needed
  • Custom Sign In integrations depending on customer requirements.

Home Screen Experience​

The home screen offers a personalized reading environment where users can:

  • Pick up where they left off with our "Continue Reading" feature
  • Browse through curated product shelves

Users can find their next read effortlessly through:

  • Product search functionality

Product Page​

When accessing a specific publication, users can:

  • View details about the publication, including:

    • Title
    • Author
    • Publication Type
    • Publication Language
    • Description

  • Manage content:

    • Download for offline access: Download publications for offline reading
    • Delete downloaded content: Remove downloaded publications from the device

  • Manage downloaded content

Profile & Settings​

Users can manage their account and preferences through:

Profile options:

  • View email information: Display the email address associated with the account
  • Access FAQ section: Find answers to common questions and issues
  • Review privacy policy: Read our privacy policy and data practices
  • Contact support team: Get help and support from our customer service team
  • Log out of account: End the current session and require re-authentication to access the app again

Settings configuration:

  • Notification settings:
    • Enable or disable notifications: Control when and how you receive alerts about new content and updates
  • Security settings:
    • Screenshots Capture Lock: Prevents users from taking screenshots of protected content within the app to ensure content security and copyright protection
  • Download settings:
    • Use WiFi only for downloads: Restrict downloads to WiFi connections to manage data usage
    • Download content automatically: Enable automatic downloads of new issues when they become available
    • View internal storage chart: Monitor storage space used by downloaded publications
    • Remove all downloads at once: Clear all downloaded content to free up device storage
  • Account management:
    • Delete account option: Permanently remove account and associated data from Publica.la Reader
  • About section:
    • App version information: View current version and build details of the application
    • Device details: Display technical information about your device
